Event and Historical Information:
Another of the early bungalows built in response to the coming of the railway and the various plans to develop the resort of Ynyslas. It is included in sales particulars relating to the liquidation of the Ynyslas Estate Company Ltd in 1910. At that time the bungalow (Lot 15) was described as ' built of timber on a stone foundation and, with a shady verandah in front, it contains drawing room, dining room, kitchen, back kitchen, scullery, pantry, and five bedrooms. Coalhouse and two WCs outside. Water is obtained by means of a pump fixed over a spring on the premises'. The property was let to a Mr J H Makinson on a annual lease at £20 per year.
