DescriptionGrounds and gardens associated with Trallwyn Hall (NPRN 16910).
1. This garden is depicted on the Second Edition Ordnance Survey 25-inch map of Caernarvonshire XXXII, sheet 8 (1900). Its main elements on that map include terrace, possible kitchen garden, walk, possible haw haw and woodland. C.H. Nicholas, RCAHMW, 10th Augsut 2006.
2. The house and service buildings are set within a discrete enclosure, presumably a shrubbery. The house faces south across the valley of the Afon Erch and its entrance front faces east. A park effect is created by tree planting in the fields beyond on these sides. West of the shrubbery are the kitchen gardens. Outbuildings and other estate buildings, are to the north. Two long drives extend to the east, terminating in lodges where they reach the public road.
