Royal Commission drought aerial reconnaissance, on 4th July 2018, discovered cropmarks of a 150m long ditch aligned generally east-west, on the floor of the Rheidol valley. A distinct curving field boundary to the north of the ditch has the appearance of a Roman marching camp corner, but the cropmark ditch is not regular enough to be considered of Roman date without further information.
