Description

Cropmarks recorded by the Royal Commission, during drought aerial reconnaissance on 4th July 2018, show faint ditches of a bivallate inland promontory fort commanding a minor bluff to the north of Llangian. The ditches are narrow, with occasional breaks, and there is a centrally-placed gateway on the upslope side. The  site encloses a D-shaped space above steeper slopes, measuring approx. 75m x 60m. It may well be of Neolithic or Bronze Age origin.
