DescriptionOn wartime aerial photographs, the same area of hardstanding appears had a large dark hangar built over it. Local residents suggest it was used for motor vehicle maintenance and missile assembly. The area remains fenced and areas of concrete hardstanding/foundation are still visible amongst the undergrowth.
A concrete vehicle inspection ramp is aligned to the fence bordering the road.
