Farm track and public footpath. Starts at road (NPRN 500261), see NGR. Runs uphill towards N, with sharp V-shaped bends at SJ1583760420 and SJ1557060426. Joins another track (NPRN 500292) at SJ1550860521 (altitude252m).
The track is shown on the 1st edition OS of 1879; the area is marked 'Rifle Range (private)' with targets and posts.
