DescriptionCropmarks recorded during the 2018 drought during Royal Commission aerial reconnaissance revealed a concentric round barrow, approx. 15-20m diameter, within cropmarks of a former rectangular enclosure or old field enclosure. The barrow sits on the floodplain to the south of the Melindwr river. The round barrow is slightly unusual in a regional context, having a broad outer ditch, a narrow inner ditch or palisade footing, and a central grave pit.
