1. Cropmarks of a plough-levelled round barrow or ring ditch, c. 45m diameter, visible in fields to the west of the triangular field and clipped on its east side by the modern road. This new site lies 50m west of the Plas Gogerddan barrow (NPRN 402198) and comprises part of a wider barrow cemetery. Discovered by Jonathan Brentnall and Glyn Davies during microlight aerial photography in the drought of 2018, during July.

2. Excavations in February 2025 by Heneb Dyfed on the west side of the main road, in advance of cycle path construction, could not locate any monument at the position of the feint cropmark but did identify a large plough levelled barrow just to its north at approx. SN 625 835. This barrow had been truncated on the east side by the road. New drone aerial photographs were taken of the excavations by the Royal Commission.
