Description
Two adjoining two storey houses lie on the north of the road to the east of Pontrhydygroes. The more westerly is double fronted and the other single fronted; both are constructed of stone rubble under separate pitched slated roofs. Each has a chimney stack on the downhill (west) end and the upper (east) house has a stone outbuilding attached at its east end. Annotated as "Tan-yr-Allt" on the first (1888) and second (1905) editions of the Ordnance Survey 25in mapping, it would appear that the name has been transferred to a house some 130m to the west.
