1. The earthwork remains of a sub-rectangular platform of possible Medieval or Post-Medieval date is visible on aerial photographs and 0.25m lidar at Parc y Capel. The platform measures approximately 14m x 12m and is situated in the north-west corner of enclosure NPRN: 422312 where it is cut into an east-facing natural slope leading down to the eastern cliff edge.

A field visit was undertaken by L. Barker, T. Driver and D. Hunt on 10/10/17 as part of the CHERISH Project. This revealed possible building debris situated within the hollow at the center of the platform, indicating that the platform may have hosted a building in previous times.

The platform has been digitally mapped and updated as part of the CHERISH Project.
