DescriptionThe 600 yard firing position for this range (NPRN 419922) is a well-preserved bank 52m long (N-S), 11m-12m wide and 2m high (max). Its flat top is 2m wide with steel uprights protruding in several places. The north end of the bank has been dug out to form an embanked hollow 4m by 1.5m but it is unclear if this is contemporary with the bank. From its west side projects a shorter, low bank.
