DescriptionA memorial to a local soldier who fell in the Boer War is located just inside the entrance to the churchyard of St Mary's. It is a sandstone obelisk on a chamfered pedestal mounted on a chamfered square base. The east face of the obelisk is embossed with a cross and the memorial inscription is engraved on the east face of the pedestal.
