Description
Llanddewibrefi 5 is a seventh to ninth century pillar-stone, now in three pieces. It was first noted in 1808 when it was in use as a gatepost at the churchyard's west entrance. It was moved to its present location, set against the north side of the chancel arch, in 1956-1964.

The stone tapers towards the top and is carved with an (now incomplete) irregular, linear cross. A hole in the centre of the cross indicates the reuse of the stone as a gate post.
