Description
A bridge over the Blaenau Ffestiniog to Bala Junction branch of the Great Western Railway, formed of two cast iron girders resting on stone-built abutments, and supporting cross girders and brick jack arches. The main girders incorporate plaques bearing the location of manufacture, Brymbo, and the date 1882. The parapets consist of cast iron openwork panels with square-section balusters and a semi-circular top pattern, standing in a profiled cast iron base channel and topped by a cast handrail; this detail is only visible because some of the plywood sheets in which the parapets have been cased have fallen off.
