Description
Raven Square Signal Box is a Welshpool & Llanfair design and dates from 1981. It stands at Raven Square station (nprn 415216), terminus of the narrow-gauge Welshpool and Llanfair Light Railway (nprn 43037). A two-storey structure of all-brick construction under a steeply pitched slated roof, with an integral lean-to at the east end, it houses a London & North Western Railway tappet frame, ex-Groeslon, of 18 levers. The box is currently in use.
