Cropmarks recorded on 24 May 2011 and again on 16th July 2013 show a large and complex later prehistoric enclosure, partly underlying the grounds of Butterhill Farm on the east side. Part of a curving ditch is visible in the eastern field, probably the inner enclosure of a concentric site, with further inner and outer ditches visible in fields to the south.
