Crossways Halt was on the former Lampeter, Aberayron & New Quay Light Railway (nprn 419330) between Aberayron Junction and Aberaeron. The railway opened in 1911 and the halt in 1929; both the halt and this section of line closed to passengers in 1951, the line closing to goods in 1965.
