Description
Constructed to serve the mining village of Ynysybwl, the Ynysybwl Halt on the Ynysybwl Branch of the Taff Vale Railway provided passenger rail services from 1887 until 1953. The line remained in place for use by the Lady Windsor Colliery until closure in 1988. The track was subsequently removed and a cycle path now covers the line. The station building is now used as a doctor's surgery.
