Gogarth Abbey is situated near to the ruins of the old Bishop's Palace (Nprn: 26529), also called Gogarth Abbey. It is a large, hipped roofed building with 4-storey hexagonal corner towers to the front. It has been a 'Railway Convalescent Home' and also a hotel.
