DescriptionThe ivy-covered roofless ruins of a rubblestone-walled building, 8 metres by 4.5 metres, lie on the roadside opposite the track to the former Melin Rhyd-y-Benllig (nprn 24683), with which the drying kiln was associated. Inside the kiln floor has collapsed. The kiln tiles, of which many lie in the ruins, were supported by lengths of bull-head railway rails.
