Description
Running alongside a section of the River Teifi near Castell Malgwyn is the towing path associated with the transportation of barges along the river. This is directly related to the Castell Malgwyn Tinplate works (NPRN: 404326), the quay for which can still be traced (NPRN 404590) and would also have served other industries in the area such as the series of quarries further downstream.

The towpath now forms part of the riverside walk and in places is supported by a revetment wall some 1.6m high.
