2) Carnedd-y-saeson is approx 47ft in diameter and 1ft high and is composed of thin slabs of slate, 1ft high set in a circle of large stones Within there is another irregular circle of large stones. Slightly off the centre is a large cist about 6ft by 4ft with its axis N-S. The capstone has been displaced to the east.
