Description
Jackson's Bridge is a large masonry bridge that carries Bethesda Street and formerly also carried the Dowlais Ironworks Tramroad, one of the earliest rack railways, over the river Taff. Built in 1791 by the Glamorganshire Canal Company, it is constructed in stone rubble and has a parapet with stone coping.
