DescriptionA late eighteenth century fruitstore attached to the contemporary walled orchard (NPRN 1528). When the larged walled garden was built next to the orchard in the early nineteenth century (NPRN 15826) the building was remodelled, re-roofed and re-fenestrated. It was restored in the late twentieth century.
A two storey building with stone rubble walls and a half hipped slate roof. The north gable is attached to the orchard wall. The entrance is in the south gable where a ramp leads up to to the loft door. The upper storey has five brick-headed casement windows in each long wall and the ground floor has semi-circular brick arched openings.
