Description
A late seventeenth century summerhouse associated with the contemporary mansion of Tros-y-marian (NPRN 15911) and part of an extensive garden scheme (NPRN 301204).
The summerhouse lies at the foot of a long (90m) and narrow walled garden or pleasance (NPRN 15913), running away from the house's main south-east facade. It is a single storey gabled building facing north-west towards the house where a central roundheaded door with a similar niche above, is flanked by windows, all recessed behind pilasters. When derelict earlier in the last century there were traces of plasterwork pilasters and cornices. The building has now been restored.
