2. The stone is depicted on the 3rd edition of the OS County series mapping (Caernarvon. XX.7 1918), but not on the earlier editions of 1889 & 1900. It is set in a paddock on the western side of the farmyard at Glynllifon and it is likely that it is a cattle rubbing stone.
