DescriptionCoachouse & stable block at Gyrn Castle (see NPRN 35857).
This is a long east-west central range with parallel ranges built to left and right sides to create symmetrical U-shaped south-facing front. Erected in third quarter of nineteenth century replacing earlier range shown on 1839 Tithe Map. Possibly by Culshaw & Summers (Liverpool). (16/05/03 KAA)
