A rough cresent of bank and ditch, c.74m long, mtilated by quarrying at both extremes, cuts off a triangular inland promontory, 55m by 52m by 75m. The main bank appears to ave been stone-reveted externally and a gap between its SE terminal and the edge of the promontory may mark the original entrance. There are traces of slight banks along the top of the scarps to the W and SE.
