On the south side of a small stream just east of the north end of a bank (nprn 301508), which deviates slightly in its course as if to accommodate it, is a well-preserved, sharply-profiled, crescent-shaped cooking mound. Open to the west, the streamward side, it is a turf-covered mound measuring 7.5m north-south by 6.0m and 1.5m high.
