Description
Located within the bounds of an abandoned intake (NPRN 84325) lies a rectangular shelter measuring 4.6m (E-W) by 2m within collapsed walling perhaps 0.9m thick originally, surviving to 0.3m high. Walls are of large stones overgrown with light vegetation. An entrance gap in the N side is flanked by lines of rubble suggesting a small annex or 'porch' measuring 2m by 1m internally and open to the W. The building is cut into rising ground on the E to a depth of c.0.5m.
Immediately above the building on the E is a line of rubble measuring 6m (N-S) by 2m, possible clearance or some ruined structure.
