The site is essentially a U-shaped ditch enclosing a level rectangular area measuring 110m (NNW-SSE) by 80m max within which lies a coeval ditched mound. The ditch is still well preserved on the N and E having a depth of about 1m but on the W side it has been almost completely ploughed out and is now visible only as a slight linear depression towards the N end.
