Site Record

Mound measuring 11m (NE-SW) by 6m and 0.75m high, crescentic shape open to NW, facing a stream. Probing indicates, in places, a gravel texture characteristic of these mounds but the prevalence of coarser grades suggests later re-use of the site as a stone dump, not unlikely given its location close to a boundary (on SE alongside which is another stream/ditch).
