DescriptionThe monument comprises an open area within the south west quadrant of the medieval town of New Radnor. This area is well preserved and exhibits undulations and banks which can be associated with the settlement, houses and roadways of the medieval town plan. The John Speed map of the town of 1612 suggests that this quadrant had an east/west road with some four houses on the street frontage.
