DescriptionLletty is a small, storeyed farmhouse, probably dating from third quarter of the 18th century. It is ingeniously planned with two floors of accommodation above a cow byre and stabling at the lower ground floor/basement level. It is built of rubble (originally skim-rendered) with slate roof and projecting end chimney to the left gable. There is a red brick stack with simple cornice. The entrance to the raised ground floor is via a later rubble lean-to porch, with boulder foundations. There are two slatestone steps to the original entrance. The main face has three floors with three, equally-spaced basement entrances. There are original small, 9-pane sash windows to two bays of the raised ground floor and three similar windows to upper floor. There is brick valuting to the two left-hand byres, timber-framed lath-and-plaster partitions and simple beamed ceilings.
