    Description
    Pickett Hamilton Fort - sunken, circular, pre-cast reinforced concrete tube within a tube, flat reinforced concrete roof with steel hatch. A hydraulic jack could raise the outer tube which operated as a pillbox, using four embrasures. Record derived from Defence of Britain Project (Record Number 12245)
