Description
Rectangular pillbox, faced with local stone. The majority of the structure is sunken with the embrasures and a heavily reinforced but decaying roof above ground. The entrance is mainly blocked, but access might be gained by squeezing through the remaining opening. The floor of the structure is covered with large rocks. The overall condition is good with the simple square layout intact. [Was this pillbox intended to guard against seaplane landings on the lake?].
