A reservoir approximately 60m E-W by 20m. On the S and E sides are earthen (spoil?) banks approximately 3m high. On the W side is a similar bank that divides the pond from a further pond to the W (nprn 260500). Probably a feeder pond for a water balance lift employed at New Pit.
