Bwthyn-y-felin is a two-storey three-bay cottage, associated with the former corn mill (nprn 24683) on the south side of the road. It is built of large, roughly-squared coursed stone, and has a modernised (?) single storey extension on the west gable, built from even larger stone blocks. On the east side the lower courses of another building have been retained, and east of this the mill leat passes under the road to the mill.
