DescriptionEarly C19th. Comprises a pair of three-stage round towers flanking wrought iron gates. High pitched octagonal slate roof. In the lower and middle stage the towers have three narrow windows with triangular heads, while the upper stage has two windows. Two-storey wings. Built in 1838-9 by Dr William Price of Llantrisant in connection with a 'Druidic Museum' close to the Rocking Stone on Pontypridd Common (RAJ 15/6/01; based on CADW listing description).
