A bizarrely Romanesque fountain at the centre of the western garden (see NPRN 23038) associated with the Venetian Gothic remodelling of Dinefwr Castle (NPRN 17603 & see NPRN 266170), executed in 1856-7. The fountain is an elaborate polygonal structure set in a large stone lined tank.
