DescriptionThree-unit upland farmhouse of direct-entry type with hall between kitchen and parlour. The stairs were contained in an unusual semi-circular turret-like outshut off the hall. The plan and detail suggests a date of c. 1800 but there are earlier historical references to the farm. Surveyed by RCAHMW in 1967 with plan published in Glamorgan Farmhouses and Cottages (1988), p. 250. Historical account by Jeff Childs in Clydach Historical Society Newsletter, no. 75 (Spring 2002; copy in NMRW). (2002.11.14/RCAHMW/RFS)
