DescriptionBatslays Farmhouse is an early seventeenth century two-storeyed house, extended to the north by a kitchen wing at an early date, and to the the west with a parlour unit attached to the gable. More recently the kitchen wing has been totally rebuilt. In his report of 1983, Harry Brooksby highlights a number of interesting features including three original mullioned windows at first floor level, and a stone stair built in a projecting turret.
