DescriptionFormerly Bodgadle, a name known from the fifteenth century, the seventeenth-century house consists of two storeys and a cellar with an added one-storey rear wing, built of uncoursed rubble. The western chimney stack is square and short with drip ledges, while the eastern one is rectangular. Inside, there is said to be a concealed winding stone staircase to the side of a wide fireplace.
Commenting as part of the crowd-sourced project Crwydro in 2014, Dafydd Humphreys noted a familial connection with the site: 'Gt-gt-gt-grandfather John Griffith resided at the lesser Bodgadle or Bodgadfa as it was known, Agricultural Labourer, aged 15 in 1841.'
