DescriptionThe Grand Lodge stands at the northern entrance to the Park (NPRN 265416) of Plas Newydd (NPRN 15824). The lodge, constructed on the site of an earlier building, was built in a robust Gothick style to match the earlier gateway (NPRN 15821). It is a two storey L-plan building, having a gabled porch in the return. It is built of rusticated limestone masonry and has a hipped slate roof behind an enbattled parapet.
