A once famous hostelry on the well-used upland drover's route on the north-western escarpment of Mynydd Epynt, linking the Drover's Arms in the east with Spite Inn in the west. Now represented by earth covered footings. Recorded during Royal Commission aerial reconnaissance.
Description: 3.5kms SSE of Cefn-gorwydd, on SE facing slope at W end of ridge, facing Rhyd Ddu to SE. Ruin: Enclosure; Rectangular; Complete. 16.2m x 6.6m. Stone annexe to NW c 7.4m x 2.1m. Ruin sits within paddock: Enclosure; Rectangular; Complete. 50m x 19.2. Road borders SE side of ruin. Related field system, (NPRN 90084) across road to SE.
