A station provided for the use of workmen (miners at Penydarren Pit) only, not for general public use. Originally two platforms, one eitherside of the double-track railway (G.W.&.Rhymney Joint Rly. Taff Bargoed Section), but only that on the S side now remains.
Brick face and pillars, rubble core. No trace of any building and there probably never was one.
