1. This site appears on the OS 25 inch plans of Brecknocks 1888 and 1905, where it is has dovecotes, a fine geometric kitchen garden with central fountain (absent in 1988) over looked by a heated wall backed by boilers, a framesyard, conservatory, picturesque parkland, a bridge, walks, ponds, orchard, a sundial and a lodge [ Powys C.C. pamphlet (Penpont) c1995].
