Cefn-ceido or Cefnceido Farmstead was originally called Ty-nant after a neighbouring tumulus and was re-named around 1800. The farm buildings include a substantial house (nprn 22720), dating from about 1800, replacing a medieval cruck-framed hall-house (nprn 22719) which was converted to a barn (nprn 97558). There is also a substantial cowhouse range (nprn 97559) also dating from about1800.
