CHERISH Project aerial reconnaissance for the Royal Commission on 4th July 2018 recorded parchmarks to the south of Maes Mawr. These comprised a polygonal enclosure some 120m long, aligned SW/NE, with a small ring ditch located to the north at SH 438 536. The ring ditch is likely to be of Bronze age date.
