Section of Roman road agger, partly fossilised under modern country lanes and partly preserved as upstanding earthwork. The southern part of this section is fossilised by a modern lane heading south of Pen-isa'r-rhos; to the north it is preserved as an upstanding agger on commonland, and then continues for another 800m to SH 4895 5856 past Dolau Gwyn and north towards Cae-mawr.

First documented by David Hopewell and the Gwynedd Archaeological Trust. Recorded as a parchmark during RCAHMW aerial reconnaissance on 4 July 2018 (image refs: AP_2018_2210-2214).
